Welcome to my home on the Internet.
I am an entrepreneur and senior athlete with a mission to help others improve and enjoy their lives as much as possible.
In my early days in the computer industry, I developed, implemented, and taught systems that made people's jobs easier and helped them be more productive.
As a photographer, I focused on providing images that told stories and preserved those special moments in life.
And now my life is consumed by everything pickleball.
I teach, I coach, and I play - and along the way I help people enjoy and live better lives through the game.
Check the sections below for all the details on what I do.
Have a great day and I look forward to working with you!
If you are looking for advice on how to become a better pickleball player at ANY level, then simply visit the Pickleball Strokes Rally Academy and download your FREE copy.
I am currently (summer 2024) offering lessons at the RA Centre and the Amberwood club in Ottawa, ON. Details are available on my Pickleball Strokes web site.
I don't sell too many products, but I use and recommend TMPR Sports paddles, Tyrol Pickleball shoes, and Live Eyewear protective glasses. Details are available on my Pickleball Strokes web site.
In a previous life (pre-pickleball) I did a lot of different photography work and my real love was portraits. I am not doing much of that any longer, but I might take on special projects that catch my eye. I have a portfolio on my Facebook Freedom Photography page that you can review.
I am doing a lot of pickleball photography though, working with tournaments and players to capture action shot memories. There are details on my Pickleball Strokes web site, and there is a portfolio on my Facebook Pickleball Strokes page.
Once upon a time (1990 through 2014) I developed database applications for remote sales forces. This was ground-breaking at the time, as we introduced remote databases syncing with a server, we provided fully hosted server environments, and we were one of the first to switch to software services pricing.
Those were fun days, but I do very little computer work any longer.
Somewhat gentle encouragement (not) from an impressive woman.
